Police are hunting a young man that apparently hid in a Gold Coast local’s wheelie container

prior to assaulting and also burglarizing him. The frightening strike happened around 6.30 get on Monday, when the alleged burglar leapt a fencing and went into a backyard at a residence on Thompson Street in Biggera Waters. He after that climbed up into a wheelie container, where he awaited over an hour

“Just before 8am, a male homeowner of that address located the male in the container and was subsequently intimidated by the culprit who required his phone as well as secrets,” Queensland Police said.

Both ended up being associated with a fight, throughout which the local of the home experienced a wound to his hand, before the offender got away on foot with the male’s building.

Investigators have currently launched CCTV of a young man running through the roads, with the hope someone might recognise him.
