Woman important after falling 10m down high cliff at Point Danger

A young woman is fighting for life after falling around 10 metres from a search at Duranbah in the Tweed Shire.

Emergency teams were contacted us to Point Danger around 11.50 am on Thursday after a member of the public discovered the hurt lady at the bottom of the cliff.

The female, thought to be aged in her 20s, suffered considerable injuries in the autumn.


She was dealt with at the scene by both Qld and also NSW paramedics before being airlifted to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance representative told myGC the female remains in a crucial condition.
